A skipped class

I skipped my class today and took off early to get to St. George. I'm so thankful for the time I have to spend with my mom and the warm and the sun! Six whole days. I love it!

Excitement

I am so thankful for things to be excited about! I'm also thankful for other people's excitement about the things I'm excited about. I gave an update on our half marathon to the tourism committee of Sandy today. They are SO excited about this race. It helps fuel my excitement (not that my excitement about this race needs any fuel...but still).

Exciting plans

I'm going to New York City!! A few girls in my ward planned the trip yesterday and today I booked a flight. I'm so excited and so thankful for something to look forward to! It's going be a crazy good time!

A response

I have friend (Adrienne) who lives in New Zealand. She's been here attending LDS Business College. I love her! She is one of the most genuinely kind people I know! It's almost sickening! She went home in December and I waited so patiently for her to return after the new year. She never did. A friend told me she decided not to come back this semester. I've been dying because I've felt the need to contact here for a few weeks now. Her phone is not in service so I pestered another friend until I finally got ahold of her email address. I emailed her last weekend and today I finally got a response. Hearing from her was great, but hearing that's she's coming back this week was even better! I'm excited to chat with her. I'm so thankful I finally got in contact with her. And I'm thankful she'll be back soon!

Rain

I'm more of a sun kid - I love the sunshine!! But if its going to snow/rain (especially in March), I would really much rather that it rain! I'm thankful for the rain that fell today. I'm thankful that it melted some of the nasty black snow. I'm thankful that I cleaned the salt of my car. And I'm thankful that tomorrow it's supposed to be sunny!!

My purse

I went on a blind date last. At the end of the night I accidentally left my purse in the guy's car!! It wouldn't have been so bad but he lives an hour away!! And - to make matters worse, my car key was in my purse (in Orem). But I didn't want to make him drive all the way back so I borrowed Krista's car (which I'm so thankful she was willing to let me do) and drove for 2 hours to get my purse. I'm thankful to have it back!!

A murder mystery dinner

I've heard about murder mystery dinners, but tonight was the first time I've ever participated in one. It was a lot of fun. I'd like to do it again with a group of people I know really well. It's hard to get to know people when you're pretending to be someone you're not!
