Tender mercies

This life is full of tender mercies, often looked over as simply coincidence. I planned to leave a little early today - I'm going to be well over 40 hours this week. But, for some reason, I just didn't. I didn't have anything pressing keeping me at work, but I stayed anyway. It turned out to be really good that I did because I was needed in Salt Lake at 5:30. If I had left early, I wouldn't have been in just the right place to help! I'm thankful for that little tender mercy that allowed me to be in the right place at the right time! Maybe I'll be able to cut some hours tomorrow instead!
