Best news ever? "You don't have to wear those surgical compression socks anymore." Hooray!! These "compression socks" are thigh high, they're SO tight, and they're SO hot!! And let me tell you, when you can't bend at the waist very easily, they're nearly impossible to put on by yourself! I'm thankful that I had those socks to wear - they improve your circulation when you're stuck in bed and they help prevent blood clots. But I'm even more thankful that I don't have to wear them anymore!!
