New pajama pants

I had this pair of pajama pants. They were my favorite. My mom made them years ago! They were thread bare. They had gigantic holes in all the wrong places. But I still wore them. They were my favorite. Yesterday I finally turned them in. I let my mom cut them up so that she could use them as a pattern to make me some new ones. I'm wearing the new ones tonight. They're not quite as soft and comfy as the old ones, but I know they'll get there eventually! I'm thankful for my mom's mad sewing skills and my new pajama pants!!
